Viral document trending on Facebook indicating President George Weah is traveling to New York with 70 government officials and employees is fake, according to Presidential Press Secretary Isaac Solo Kelgbeh.

The purported list shows more than 40 security agents are part of the President’s delegation that would attend the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Kelgbeh told the Oracle News Daily it’s deliberate disinformation and cheap propaganda from the opposition.

“It is a deadly lie that is totally far from the truth as it relates to the president’s delegates to the United Nations General Assembly.

Presidential protocol has not released names of people traveling to the UN.”
