Liberians Vote in Presidential Elections Amidst Huge Turnout

Liberians are voting in the country’s presidential and legislative elections that has so far been relatively peaceful.

Voters queued in the early morning hours cast ballot in the West African nation’s fourth democratic polls after the end of civil war in 2003, that killed an estimated 250,000 people.

Voting started on time in most centers while few where behind schedule due to elections staff late arrival.
