The Kissi community in the United States has donated 12,000 United States dollars to the Standard Bearer of the Unity Party Joseph Nyuma Boakai to buttress the efforts of poll watching, the former Vice President office said Monday.
Presenting the money to the Unity Party Standard Bearer, the Assistant to the President of the Kissi community Mr. Wilfred Banaci said they were making the intervention as a way of showing support to the Rescue Mission led by the Former Vice President.
The Kissi community in the United States is happy to help in any way that will bring about victory in the runoff scheduled for the 14th of November,  Banaci said.
Responding, the Former Vice President and Standard Bearer of the Unity hailed the Kissi community in the USA for their support towards the rescue efforts.
He particularly praised the leadership of Madam Cecelia Kromah and referred to her as skillful, hardworking and astute in stewardship.
Members of the delegation to the Office of the Standard Bearer included Pastor Sando Johnson Advisor, Wilfred Banaci Assistant to the President and Madam Jennebah Harris.
This is the second in the donations made so far by the Kissi Community and more are expected.
