Must read

A Pro-democracy under the banner, Upists Deserve Better Governance,  has called on members of the Liberian Senate not confirm Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, designate, G. Andy Quamie.

The group which is a mass-based Unity Party group whose quest is to uphold the good tenants of democracy and to promote the image of all Partisans of the great unity patty in and outside of Liberia, especially senior partisans of our party who have paid his or her dues.

“We assemble here today on this 26th day of February, AD 2024 to provide our position on a recently-made appointment by President Joseph N. Boakai, President and standard-bearer of the insurmountable unity party.  Therefore, UDEBEG sees the appointment as a joke and a contradiction to good governance and to the thousands of unity party partisans who were in the trenches to ensure that the objectives of the Liberian people are recused and redeemed from the element of the CDC, while men and women were in the gutters to execute this call Andy Quamie was attacking and supporting militants of the CDC to stall the execution of this mandate the group indicated.

Fellow partisans of our party, what seems to be so very annoying is the first that Mr. Quamie is on record of contributing to the spoiled system of Liberia football Association (LFA), supporting the failed games of the current president of the FA,  in Mustaph I. Raji.

Moreover, we think, by his alignment with this Nigerian-Liberian, we believe our sports will not be developed and promoted, we are also receiving credible information that this Deputy Minister designate was in conspiracy with Mustapha Raji to implore a coach on our Liberia National Team who doesn’t  have a record of winning a game in country, more besides, we have been sourced that the Minister designate is currently undergoing investigation by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for some other issues which this release will not carry for now.

“The mass-based UP Revolution Movement has uncovered that these allegations may have the proclivity to destroy the sporting sector, especially the Soccer. CDBR views this call not a repressive campaign but a call with sustainable fact that may destroy the department of sports in the nearest future, the group said.

The statement under the signatures of Matthew Vah and Tuss Kezeli, of  CDBR emphatically states that the deputy minister designate is not the only Liberians with knowledge in football, there are competence senior partisans of the great unity party then to select a Cdcian and weahian who will destroy the secret conversation to the folks of the CDC compound, we have evidence of such information to our reach, the group noted.

“Therefore, we call on all Partisan of the evergreen Unity Party to join in this call to ensure that Andy Quamie is rejected by the Honorable Liberian senate as we all Think Liberia, Love Liberia, and Build Liberia,” the statement concluded.
