The leader of the main opposition Unity Party has called the George Weah administration over the tragic killing of a street vendor in Monrovia.

Former Vice President Joseph Boakai alleges Prince Kollie alias Yannah Boy who supported the erstwhile ruling party died under strange circumstances. The politician wants an independent probe into Prince’s death.

“I want to remind this reckless and irresponsible administration that, like many others who have mysteriously died, the death of Yannah Boy must and will be impartially investigated to ascertain the truth,” he said Monday in a post on his official Facebook account.

“This fallen towering supporter [Unity Party] was a shining example of commitment and determination, virtues he demonstrated consistently until his untimely death.

“With a heavy heart, I extend deepest condolences to his family, and friends

It’s reported that he got killed by a hit-and–run vehicle,” Danh Mewaseh said in a tribute to his fallen friend.

“What a tragedy! Few days ago we sat and spoke lengthily about strategies for the forthcoming elections and now you are no more.
