The Citizens United to Promote & Develop Sports, through its National Coordinator, says the current President of the Liberia Football Association, Mustapha Raji, has dropped the expectation of many football supporters and lovers, who supported his bid in the 2018; therefore, the above-mentioned group has unanimously agreed and endorsed former LFA Vice President for Operations, Mr. Cassell A. Kuoh, Sr., as best-suited, to head the Presidency of the Liberia Football Association (LFA).
According to a press statement issued in Monrovia, Sunday afternoon in Monrovia, the National Coordinator of Citizens United to Promote & Develop Sports, projects and openly stated that Mr. Kuoh, is best-suited to head the Liberia Football Association (LFA) as President this time.
He continued: “In these critical times of the Association, its very pivotal to change the current President and bring on board a man who has worked within the footballing sector for years, and has a mark of legacy and it also time that we must all come and weed out this failed current President, and project a man with passion for the footballing community of the country.”
He further noted that Mr. Kouh will serve as a beacon of hope for the LFA, if given the chance to lead the organization in the coming years as President.
Citizens United to Promote & Develop Sports is a local sporting organization whose quest is to ensure that sports in Liberia should be developed and promoted.
Furthermore, Mr. Toure noted that their institution is testimony to the effective and efficient working of Mr. Kuoh while serving the LFA as Vice President for Operations.
The LFA is a federation that governs the affairs of soccer in Liberia, and converges after every four (4) years to conduct its activities in keeping with its statute that created the body.
The Citizens United to Promote & Develop Sports in a release intimated that the ascendency of a reputable football lover and developer in Mr. Kouh, to the footballing arena will be develop and promote the sport significantly in the country, evidenced by his countless contribution made in developing and promoting the profession for many youthful Liberians.
Citizens United to Promote & Develop Sports further indicated that Mr. Kouh love and contribution to the sports is countless and that all lovers of soccer should join the calls in projecting him for the rebirth of the footballing federation.
