Liberia’s House Speaker Cllr. Jonathan Fornati Koffa has been recognized as the guest of honor at the 12th African Leadership Magazine Persons Of The Year Awards Ceremony, currently taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The annual event, which brings together leaders from various sectors across Africa, focuses on discussing important issues related to the continent’s socio-economic growth and development. It also celebrates individuals who embody people-centered leadership and promote a pan-African agenda.
With the theme “Building Resilient African Economies,” this year’s ceremony brought together over 300 participants, including policymakers, industry leaders, investors, academics, and development agencies. The event served as a platform for networking and exchanging ideas to advance Africa’s development agenda.
Speaker Koffa’s recognition as the guest of honor highlights his significant contributions to Liberia’s governance and his dedication to advancing Africa’s socio-economic interests. He was joined by other notable members of Liberia’s political landscape, such as Hon. Frank Saah Foko, Hon. Alex Noah, Hon. Zinnah Normah, and Hon. Eugene Kollie.
