Minister of State for Presidential Affairs Sylvester Grigsby has praised the newly established Digital Testing Center at the Civil Service Agency (CSA). Minister Grigsby toured the facility and commended it as a significant advancement in the professionalization of Liberia’s civil service.
The CSA Digital Testing Center aims to ensure a rigorous and transparent evaluation for candidates seeking enrollment in the civil service. This state-of-the-art center is the first of its kind since the country’s independence, marking a transformative step in the recruitment process, according to officials.
During his tour, Minister Grigsby highlighted the center’s innovative design, which generates test questions tailored to each candidate’s desired position.
Upon completion, candidates receive immediate results, and those who pass are awarded an enrollment certificate electronically, minimizing potential cheating and inaccuracies in the testing process.
“This testing center is a magnificent masterpiece for civil service recruitment,” Grigsby remarked.
He expressed gratitude to CSA Director Josiah Joekai and his team for their efforts in creating a more trustworthy employment process.
“Indeed, there is no business as usual here. This is a clear manifestation that Liberia is moving towards an advanced level of governance where citizens can have confidence in the hiring process.”
With President Boakai set to dedicate the center in the coming days, anticipation is building around how this initiative will reshape the workforce and enhance accountability within Liberia’s civil service.
The digital testing center is expected to play a pivotal role in fostering professionalism and streamlining the recruitment process across government entities.
