TAMMA Corporation has entered into a landmark three-year content partnership with Liberian creators Amie B. Conteh and Sarofina Toe, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed Friday Jan 30, in Monrovia.

The agreement marks a significant step in strengthening Liberia’s creative industry by expanding original programming and fostering professional collaboration between established media institutions and emerging talent.

Under the terms of the MoU, Conteh and Toe will produce original audiovisual and digital content for broadcast and distribution across TAMMA’s television and media platforms.

The arrangement is designed to balance creative independence with commercial opportunity.

While the creators retain ownership of their intellectual property, TAMMA Corporation is granted exclusive broadcast and monetization rights.

This framework ensures that the creators’ work remains authentically theirs while benefiting from TAMMA’s technical infrastructure, broadcast reach, and commercial capacity.

The agreement outlines defined roles, editorial standards, and delivery expectations. TAMMA will provide the necessary technical support and distribution channels, while the creators are tasked with producing content that meets professional editorial benchmarks.

The corporation’s investment in structured partnerships reflects its broader commitment to professionalizing content production in Liberia, a sector often challenged by limited resources and fragmented distribution, TAMMA said in a statement.

Revenue-sharing is a central feature of the partnership. Net revenue generated strictly from television broadcasts will be shared between TAMMA and the participating creators, ensuring that both parties benefit equitably from the commercial success of the programming.

At the same time, Conteh and Toe retain the right to use their personal image and brand for advertising and promotional purposes, allowing them to maintain visibility and pursue independent opportunities outside the partnership.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, TAMMA executives emphasized the corporation’s vision of building sustainable opportunities for local talent. “This agreement is more than a business deal; it is a commitment to nurturing creativity and ensuring that Liberian voices are amplified through structured, professional platforms,” a spokesperson noted.

For Conteh and Toe, the partnership represents both recognition of their creative contributions and a pathway to wider audiences. By aligning with TAMMA, they gain access to national and potentially regional distribution networks, positioning their work within a competitive media landscape increasingly shaped by digital transformation.

The signing underscores TAMMA Corporation’s role as a catalyst for innovation in Liberia’s media sector. By investing in local talent and formalizing content partnerships, the corporation is helping to lay the foundation for a more vibrant, sustainable creative economy. As the partnership unfolds, audiences can expect a diverse range of original programming that reflects Liberia’s culture, creativity, and evolving media identity.
