Liberian President Joseph Boakai late Monday night appointed ex-central banker Boima Kamara as Minister of Finance and Development Planning.
Kamara Served as Johnson Sirleaf Finance Minister between 2016-18. He studied financial economics at John Hopkins University in the United States.
Prior to his 2016 appointment he served as deputy governor for economics affairs at the Central Bank of Liberia.
Others appointed are: Sylvester Grigsby, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs. Samuel Koffi Woods, National Security Advisor. Gregory Coleman, Inspector General of the Liberia National Police. Sam Gaye, Director of the Executive Protection Service.
All five nominees served in the Johnson Sirleaf administration.
