Alliance Certified Public Accountants, Inc. has announced the appointment of Dr. Samora P. Z. Wolokolie as its new Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Wolokolie, an esteemed figure in Liberian Public Finance, Law, and Certified Public Accounting, brings with him over 18 years of distinguished service to Alliance CPA, Inc.
Dr. Wolokolie’s impressive career has been marked by his unwavering dedication to both academia and public service.
As a renowned Liberian Public Financial expert and Lawyer, he served as the Deputy Minister for Fiscal Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, Republic of Liberia, overseeing the nation’s fiscal economy and designing fiscal policies for six years.
Additionally, he held the position of Managing Partner at BICON. INC. Liberia and occupied various high-level roles in well-established firms.
In academia, Dr. Wolokolie serves as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Stella Maris Polytechnic University, University of Liberia, contributing significantly to the knowledge enrichment of aspiring professionals.
His expertise extends to lecturing at prestigious universities and speaking engagements at international forums.
Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, Dr. Wolokolie earned his Ph.D. and MSc. in Forensic Accounting & Audit from Charisma University in the Turks & Caicos Islands in February 2020 and February 2016, respectively.
Furthermore, he obtained an MBA in Accounting from Cuttington University in 2007 and a Bachelor of Law (L.L.B.) from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, University of Liberia, in March 2021.
A member of several professional bodies, including the Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA), Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) (ICAG), Liberian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (LICPA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP), the Liberian Institute of Certified Tax Practitioners (LITP), the Institute of Financial Accountants, UK (FFA (UK)), and Institute of Public Accountants, Australia (FIPA (Aus)), Dr. Wolokolie’s commitment to professional excellence is evident.
Dr. Wolokolie has authored two impactful books, “Forensic Accounting Analytics and Pension Fund Administration: A Study of Selected Administrators in Liberia” and “Combating Money Laundering: A Guide to Forensic Investigation Professionals,” available on Amazon.
His career highlights include overseeing impactful audits for USAID contractors, implementing system improvements, and managing complex multi-site engagements.
