Liberia’s main opposition Coalition for Democratic Change has congratulated its National Secretary General Jefferson Tamba Koijee on his historic graduation from Reichman University’s Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy in Herzliya, Israel, earning a master’s degree in Counterterrorism, Intelligence, And International Security (Government).

“We are proud that Our dynamic Secretary General has graduated from Israel’s most prestigious Private University that is educating students from over 90 countries around the world,” CDC National Chairman Jnaga Kowo said in a statement Wednesday.

“This achievement represents more than an academic milestone. It reflects a journey of perseverance, discipline, and purposeful leadership. From community activism to national leadership and now global scholarship, Comrade Koijee continues to demonstrate that adversity cannot defeat determination, and that true leadership requires continuous growth and preparation.

“For countless young Liberians, especially those from humble communities, this accomplishment sends a powerful message that education, hard work, and commitment remain pathways to personal and national advancement.

The CDC also notes with pride the spontaneous celebrations witnessed across various communities following news of this achievement. Chairman Kowo said without organized mobilization, ordinary citizens came together to celebrate one of their own reflecting the genuine bond between Comrade Koijee and the people he has served throughout his public life.

Kowo: As Liberia faces increasingly complex challenges, the development of leaders equipped with knowledge in governance, diplomacy, and strategic affairs remains essential to the nation’s future.

Today, the CDC Blue Revolution proudly celebrates this accomplishment and the spirit of service, resilience, and excellence it represents.

The CDC awaits your return. Indeed, Liberia awaits the next chapter of leadership and service that this achievement makes possible.

On behalf of our Political Leader, His Excellency Ambassador George Manneh Weah, the National Executive Committee, and the resilient grassroots of the Mighty Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), I extend profound congratulations.
