The Liberia Maritime Authority (LiMA) has been recognized as the Best Performing Public Institution of 2026 during the National Public Service Day celebrations organized by the Civil Service Agency (CSA) in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.

The prestigious recognition highlights the Authority’s commitment to excellence, accountability, innovation, and the effective delivery of public services in support of the Government of Liberia’s national development agenda.

The award was received on behalf of the Liberia Maritime Authority by Cllr. Neto Zarzar Lighe, Sr., Commissioner/Chief Executive Officer, who dedicated the honor to the dedicated management and staff of the Authority for their unwavering commitment to professionalism and service to the Liberian people.

Cllr. Lighe expressed gratitude to the Civil Service Agency (CSA) and reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of public service.
